meditations

Yoga and meditation have played a huge part in my life, from keeping me calm and grounded as a mother, to creating mental clarity to inspire my creative projects. Every day, there are moments when I use these tools to ground myself in the moment and keep balance in my life.

While teaching prenatal yoga, I noticed many of my students came in the door with a buzz of anxiety or stress. I began incorporating meditation into our classes and had the joy and honor of watching these parents-to-be settle into their bodies and relax before my eyes.

Many of the meditations here are those that I used in prenatal yoga or my “Meditation for Moms” class, but most are not prenatal or mother-specific (the exceptions being the Prenatal Affirmations and Parenting Affirmations!). I encourage you to try them out and see which meditation style works best for you!

Meditations can be watched for free via YouTube, or they are available for MP3 download for a small cost (and are available as a meditation bundle here). If you teach yoga and would like to incorporate these meditations into your classes, I also have the meditation scripts available for download.
